Reiki refers to the universal life source that flows through all living things and around us in our energy field. When depleted it diminishes the function of the body systems. Reiki is an all encompassing therapy; it balances the mind, body, and spirit and releases tension from th entire body system. People use Reiki to help lessen the impact of stress, help manage symptoms, support physical healing, strengthen wellbeing, and restore the body's self regulating mechanism. Reiki is simply a spiritual vibrational hands on healing practice that helps restore energy flow and equilibrium in the body.

Reiki energy works in harmony with all other forms of healing and will improve the results. The word Reiki is made of 2 Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom of Higher Power" ad Ki which is the "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy". While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion. It has no dogma, and there is nothing you must believe in order to experience Reiki. In fact, Reiki is not dependent on belief at all and will work whether you believe in it or not. Because Reiki comes from a higher power, many people find that using Reiki puts them more in touch with the experience of their religion rather than having only an intellectual concept of it. People receiving Reiki often express a sense of connection to their own innate spirituality, or inner source.

REIKI

The practitioner serves as the "channel" for the Reiki energy to flow through the hands while placed in certain positions on or over the body. Reiki practice is extremely passive; reiki energy arises in the practioner's hands spontaneously in response to the individual's need for balance and is thus automatically customized to the immediate need of the recipient. This energy nourishes cells and organs and helps restore harmony to the energy flow so the body can better utilize its own natural healing abilities.

BASIC COMBO

Experience Reflexology infused with and followed by dedicated Reiki. Reflexology relaxes your body systems and leaves you feeling like you have had a massage from the inside out. Reiki energy nourishes your body's cells and organs and helps restore harmony to the energy flow. Reiki works in harmony with all other forms of healing and will help improve results.

ENERGY COMBO

Session begins with Chakra Tuning Forks to help open and balance Chakras and amplify the energy healing session. Sound Massage is included with 60 min session. This further supports chakra work thru vibrational impact. Session closes with Reiki.

WELLNESS COMBO

Session begins with Sound Massage including Chakra &/or Solfeggio Tuning Forks to help open & balance chakras. Followed next by Reflexology integrated with Otto Tuning Forks applied to specific reflex points on the feet that are targeted as priority for your wellness goals. Session closes with Reiki.

What to expect with Reiki session?

PRIOR TO ARRIVAL: Before your first session, a short consultation will be completed to chat about setting intention and what to expect. Additional vibrational-sound healing and/or Reflexology options will be discussed as needed. I will confirm option chosen and the date and time to arrive.

BEFORE SESSION: Before we begin your first session, a contract for services will be signed. While we set up, we will review intention for your session and address any additional questions you may have. You will be positioned comfortably on a massage table.You will have a choice of silence or background relaxing music for basic session. Other options include sound healing tuning forks and bowls.

DURING SESSION: Laying of the hands is done with my hands 3"-4" away from your body. Tuning forks (if used) are also around the body. Hand placement is respectful and non-intrusive. My role is neutral; I do not control Reiki energy nor make any attempts to fix or change the biofield. People experience Reiki in very different ways. Some examplest you may feel:

tingling or throbbing
heat or cold in areas of your body
subtle or cascading waves of pulsations
a glowing radiance through and around you
sense of peace, security and well-being
deeply relaxed; may get sleepy and doze off
no awareness of inner movement
relief from stress and/or discomfort
energized or emotional
refreshed and clear minded

AFTER SESSION: After the session, you may share your responses but it is not my role to analyze sensations or diagnose anything. Therapy benefits can occur as soon as after the session is over. It's suggested that you take 15-20 minutes to do something relaxing and spend some time reflecting to capture any insights you may have and to connect to what you've experienced. It is a good idea to take it easy the rest of the day, eat lighter meals, and drink plenty of water. Within 24-48 hours following session, some people experience what is is called a "healing crisis". As a person's vibration goes up and energy blockages are being cleared, toxins that have been stored in the body are released into the blood stream. Symptoms of headache, stomach ache or general weakness may be experienced. These are completely normal and temporary responses that are actually considered to be good signs that the body is releasing toxins as your body is working to rebalance and heal. If you experience anything that causes you concern, please contact me. I will follow up most initial sessions 24-48 hours after your therapy to ensure you are feeling well and reassure you if you experience a healing crisis.
